What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. Mike Tressler, our co-worker and friend, passed away unexpectedly on May 19, 2008. Dave and Marlo hosted a memorial service for Mike at Concord Country Club on Friday evening. Mike joined the David team almost immediately after we opened our doors for the first time in July of 2005 and he will be greatly missed. As we prepare to celebrate our three year anniversary at our Glen Mills store, Mike’s absence will be especially poignant. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Tressler family, and his son Lucas. We will miss you always Mike.

Mike was one of the most positive people I have known. He was an inspiration to me who’s influence in my life was nothing but positive. No matter what he was going through he always had time to listen and also to share his feelings and seek to sense others. I will miss Mike and my thoughts and prayers go out especially to his son who he frequently spoke of and to those who cared about him.
