Chadds Ford Days may have been cancelled on Saturday because of Hurricane Hannah, but we were back in business on Sunday Sept. 7. The organizers of the event made the call early Sunday morning and we came out and set up for the day. With a Challenger, Charger and Journey on display at our tent and David banners and signs as far as the eye could see, it was a great day for everyone. History buffs who went to see the Battle of Brandywine re-created also saw our vehicles on display.
The new Challenger was a real crowd pleaser and attracted a LOT of attention from the crowd. Almost everyone there stopped by for a quick glance or to ask if it was available. The Journey and Charger had their fair share of admirers too, with people wanting brochures or more info. As always, our David balloons were a big hit with the kids. It turned out to be a beautiful day after quite a washout on Saturday. In the 40 year history of Chadds Ford Days, it has only been rained out TWO other times besides this Saturday. Both times, it cleared the following day and the second day turned out to be a huge success. Thanks to all our friends and customers who came out to see us. Hope to see you all next year. Here are some pics from the day…
